On Monday May 27th we headed off the TAYTO PARK.  We boarded the bus at 9am to get there for 11.  Just as we got off the bus the rain started to pour so we took shelter under the entrance archway.  Once the rain passed we had a tour of their magnificent zoo and got to see tigers, bison, cheetahs, meerkats, deer and monkeys.  We had time before our lunch to enjoy small rides like the parachute.  This was a taster of things to come.  Then we had our lunch with consisted of capri suns, chips, sausages and chicken nuggets.  The chips were really nice!

After that we split into two groups and the senior room went to go on some of the bigger rides.  We queued up for the Cú Chulainn but the queue was too long so we left there to go on some other rides like The Rotator, The Illusion Tunnel, The Gliders, The Viking Water Slide and many more.

The junior room had great fun at the Nissan Driving School, Honey Pot Bears, The Rocking Boat and the Ferris Wheel to name but a few.  We also had ice cream and candy floss....yummy!

We have a great day - it was brilliant fun.  We ended the day going to the Gift Shop where we got magnets, souvenirs and teddies.
