Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are participating in Green Schools this year and would like if YOU could help too. We are working on our 6th Flag: Global Citizenship Litter and Waste. Here are some ideas you can do at home:

Use re-useable bottles

Walk instead of drive whenever you can or car pool with a neighbour

Make sure to TURN OFF THE LIGHTS!!!

Something else to remember is when you are brushing your teeth to TURN OFF THAT TAP!!!

Have a shower instead of a bath

Buy loose fruit and vegetables
-
Don’t throw your food away. Keep a compost bin

Recycle cardboard and plastic by using them for arts and crafts.
Next week we are planning to do something every day as part of our Climate Action initiative:
Monday – No plastic in our lunch boxes
Tuesday – Trot on Tuesday (walk, cycle etc.)
Wednesday – Clean Up Carnew
Thursday – No Technology Thursday
Friday – Forward the word Friday – here we will write to our local newspaper about our actions and promote awareness in our community.
